Several times a month, take a lint-free cloth and wipe down the scanner rollers, which are accessible by opening the scanner. Cleaning the scanner rollers regularly will reduce paper jams and the rollers will last longer.
If you have a paper jam, you will most likely receive an error on the CaptureStation screen.
Fixing this is simple, just open the scanner and remove the papers, close the scanner and hit Continue. Organize your documents and you may continue scanning the charts.
The CaptureStation is designed to delete any information it has received during the failed scan, so that there is no question about which documents are or aren’t in the system. After clearing the jam, you can start scanning the entire document again.
