For a chart to be ready to go through the scanner, you must first:

• Remove any metal, such as paperclips and staples.
• Add the black separator sheets to distinguish what pages go in which tab.

• Along with the black separator sheets, make sure to include No Documents pages where it is applicable.

For “Big Charts,” no preparation is needed other than removing any hardware.

You do not need to put a black separator sheet at the beginning or end of the chart, only between sections.
